Kirk Hunsaker
Grinch
Kirk Hunsaker (Callsign: “Grinch”) is a career military aviator and leader with unique technical and management qualifications, in and out of the military. In 24 years of USAF service, Kirk established himself as a Subject Matter Expert in a wide array of topics including Electronic Warfare, Tactics, Air to Air and Air to Ground Weapons Employment, Strategy Development and Mission Data Development, Verification and Validation. Retiring in 2014, Colonel Hunsaker commanded the USAF’s only Combat Air Force Electronic Warfare Group, flew the B-1B and F-15E, and led a flying squadron in combat. Since retirement, he spent the last two years in the civilian business world, studying defense contracting and Program Direction.
Grinch is a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia with Bachelor’s degrees in Computer and Electrical Engineering, and received Master’s degrees from ERAU, the Naval War College and the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies. Most recently, Kirk completed the “International Training Course" at the Geneva Centre for Security policy in Switzerland.
